Replying to @JessicaLynn Judge my thrift taste! Everything I got for $200 in 7 months #thriftfinds
Thrifting has truly become one of my favorite hobbies, and over the past 7 months I’ve managed to find incredible treasures without breaking the bank. One of the highlights was scoring a Jean Paul Gaultier purse for only $4 and 90s Versace jeans for just $12. These are items that normally would cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars. I also found a vintage Saint John dress for $19, which would have been around $2,000 brand new. It feels so special to wear something unique with such a great backstory. Plus, I picked up a Dyson humidifier for $14—an absolute steal compared to its retail price of $600! One thing I love about thrifting is the surprise factor. You never know what you’ll discover next, from vintage Balenciaga heels for $27 to a Missoni knit skirt priced under $15. Each find feels like a little treasure hunt, and it teaches me patience and creativity. Along the way, sometimes I say no to certain items, whether because they don’t fit or because the price feels too high. For example, I passed on some Michael Kors pieces and Christian Dior tights even though they were tempting. It’s a great reminder that thrift shopping is not just about buying—it’s about making smart choices that suit your style and budget. I’m also really excited about thrifting home decor. I recently got a vintage stone chest table top to transform into a unique table. Although I can’t share all my home styling yet for safety reasons, I hope to reveal my space soon because thrifting adds so much personality and charm. If you’re starting in thrifting, take your time and enjoy the process. Don’t hesitate to experiment with different styles.
