It’s not every day you meet an Olympian or someone with that kind of athletic prowess in person. I also saw that she attended Troy Buchanan High School, which just goes to show how hard work and dedication from a young age, even through high school sports, can lead to such amazing success on a global stage. It feels really cool to know a bit more about her background now and connect the dots from her beginnings to her current status as a record-holder. When I saw her, even though it was just a brief moment, her presence was truly impactful. She carries herself with such strength and determination – you could just tell she's a world-class athlete.
