High Protein Pancakes
My favourite high protein pancake recipe! Around 50 grams of protein per serving (5-6 pieces)
In the blender:
-40 grams of crushed oats
-one egg
-55 ml of milk (I use Alpro high protein milk)
-60 grams of cottage cheese
-14 grams of vanilla protein powder (half a scoop)
-baking powder
-pinch of salt
-Dash of cinnamon
For topping and filling
-cottage cheeses mixed with honey
-frozen raspberries with little chia seeds (I heat it on the stove until it’s like jam texture, takes few minutes)
Enjoy

High protein pancakes are an excellent choice for those looking to fuel their workout routines with nutritious meals. Not only do they provide a great source of protein, crucial for muscle repair and growth, but they can also be quite versatile in flavors and toppings. To elevate the benefits, consider incorporating different protein sources such as Greek yogurt or swapping ingredients to cater to dietary restrictions, such as gluten-free oats or plant-based protein powders. These pancakes can also serve as a meal prep option, allowing you to whip up a batch for the week ahead. Just store them in the fridge or freeze for later use. When reheating, simply pop them in the toaster for that freshly made taste. Coupled with your favorite toppings such as almond butter, fresh fruits, or even a drizzle of maple syrup, these pancakes can satisfy your sweet tooth while keeping you energized. Notably, the inclusion of oats not only contributes to the protein but also adds fiber, making your meal more filling and nutritious. A mix of cottage cheese and protein powder pairs wonderfully with berries, bringing together taste and health benefits in one delicious dish. Enjoy these pancakes as part of a balanced diet that supports your fitness goals, whether it's weight loss, muscle gain, or simply healthy eating!
