RATING ALL MY EMPTIES FROM THIS MONTH!!! @ONE SIZE BEAUTY @THE OUAI @Tatcha US @dermalogica #sephora #sephorahaul #sephorahauls
It's always such a bittersweet feeling when you finally hit pan or squeeze out the last drop of a product! For me, rating all my empties isn't just about clearing out my beauty stash; it's a true test of what really works and what's worth your hard-earned money. This month, I’ve got quite a collection of finished products, and I’m excited to share a deeper dive into my thoughts, especially concerning One/Size Beauty and some of my go-to bath and body favorites. Let's start with One/Size Beauty. As a brand founded by Patrick Starrr, I always have high expectations for its inclusivity and performance. When I'm rating my empties from One/Size, I'm looking for blendability, longevity, and how it performs on different skin types. For instance, their setting spray is a cult favorite for a reason – it truly locks everything in. I've gone through several bottles, and it consistently delivers. Their complexion products, like the foundation or concealer, impressed me with their range and ability to create a flawless finish without feeling heavy. My experience has been that One/Size products generally stand up to their claims, making them a strong contender for repurchases in my routine. Beyond makeup, the query also highlighted "bath and body products," which are such an essential part of my self-care routine. I often find myself falling in love with a luxurious shower gel or a deeply moisturizing body cream, and these are often among my most satisfying empties. Brands like The Ouai and Dermalogica, which I mentioned in my quick empties recap, excel here. The Ouai's body and hair fragrances are just divine – finishing a bottle feels like saying goodbye to a little luxury! For bath and body, I always evaluate: how does it smell? Does it hydrate effectively? Is the texture pleasant? Does it genuinely make my skin feel better? My Dermalogica empties, for example, always speak to their efficacy in skincare, and their body products carry that same professional-grade feel. When you’re constantly trying new things like I am, it’s crucial to have a system for reviewing and evaluating products. I consider a few key things: Performance: Did it do what it promised? Texture & Scent: Was it enjoyable to use? Did it irritate my skin? Value for Money: Was the price justified by the results and quantity? Repurchase Factor: Would I buy it again, or recommend it to a friend? This is often the ultimate test when rating all my empties. Sometimes, a product might be good, but not groundbreaking enough to warrant a repurchase, especially with so many new innovations constantly hitting the market. Other times, a product truly stands out and becomes a staple. Tatcha, for instance, often falls into the latter category for me. While pricier, their skincare delivers such a luxurious experience and noticeable results that I often find myself reaching for their refills. So, if you’re ever wondering if a product from One/Size Beauty or any other popular brand is worth investing in, remember to consider these points. My empties posts are essentially a long-term evaluation of products, giving you insight beyond just a first impression. What are some of your recent empties, and were they hits or misses for you? I’d love to hear! It's all about finding those gems that truly enhance your beauty routine.
