Summer fun for kids in Calgary: @royalduck inflatable bounce park 🐤
Here are some things to know before you go:
- they sell grip socks at the door
- it was so hot, even in the morning. Make sure to wear sunscreen and bring water
- we stayed for about an hour before everyone was done
- it was dirty so don’t wear your fave clothes
- would have been better if my oldest had a friend with him to run around
- it’s easy for young kids to get lost in the park so I’m glad both Chris and I were there to watch each kid
It’s open daily at Marlborough Mall now until Sept 7!
Visiting the Royal Duck inflatable bounce park is a fantastic way to keep kids active and entertained during the summer in Calgary. From my recent experience, I recommend arriving early to avoid the peak heat, as the park can get quite warm even in the mornings. Bringing plenty of water and applying sunscreen are essential to keep everyone comfortable and protected. One helpful tip is to purchase grip socks at the entrance if you don’t have your own, as these help prevent slips on the inflatable surfaces. It’s also a good idea to dress your children in casual, older clothes since the park tends to get dirty quickly. Supervision is key, especially since young children can easily get separated in the large bounce areas. Having another adult present or organizing a playdate can enhance the experience, as kids often enjoy running around more with friends. The park’s location inside Marlborough Mall makes it convenient for families to access, and with daily operation until September 7, it offers plenty of chances to plan multiple visits. Overall, the bounce park is an excellent combination of fun and physical activity for children, ensuring memorable summer moments in Calgary.
