It’s been a while!

Haven’t posted anything in a minute!

Because of recent issues my sister has had (she’s got a much bigger following)

I’ve decided going by my actual name when I have kids is probably not the best.

So I’m changing it to Winona.

I love it and it’s been a name I’ve loved for a while.

Anyways, I’m Winona.

I’m thinking of starting 30 days of gratitude to help shift my mind set from always seeing the negative to positive!

Starting September, I want to post things I’m grateful for each day! Will try not to repeat them and actually have some details.

I’m hoping this will help me feel more positive and motivated in my own personal life.

Let’s see how far I can go!

... Read moreChanging one’s personal identity, including something as significant as a name, can be a profound step toward self-growth and positive transformation. Winona’s decision to embrace a new name reflects her desire to create boundaries and a fresh start, especially after family-related challenges involving online followings. This move not only helps establish personal space but also symbolizes taking control of her own narrative. Starting a 30-day gratitude challenge is a powerful way to cultivate mindfulness and improve mental wellbeing. Gratitude practices encourage individuals to focus on positive aspects of life, often leading to greater happiness and reduced stress. By committing to share distinct daily reflections without repetition, Winona is setting a disciplined and sincere intention to shift her mindset. This approach fosters deeper appreciation for everyday moments, enhancing motivation and emotional resilience. For those interested in starting a similar journey, it can be helpful to keep a gratitude journal where specific details about each thankful moment are noted, promoting authentic engagement rather than generic statements. Sharing this journey openly, as Winona plans through her posts and hashtags like #gratitudechallenge and #embracevulnerability, also invites community support and accountability, which can enrich the experience. Ultimately, Winona’s candid sharing highlights a relatable process of embracing change and striving for personal growth. Many can find inspiration in adopting small, consistent habits that nurture positivity, especially during challenging times. Whether you are considering a name change, redefining your identity, or simply looking to reframe your outlook, the practice of gratitude can be a transformative and uplifting pathway.

Just wanted to give an update. Updated my glam routine, did a great silk press but it rained today 🫠 I used the wow dreamcoat for curly hair. I was torn at first but I think I know John Frieda and the L’Oréal heat protectant works better. I’ll be trying that next time. I might consider even

What it’s been like dating in the COMMUNITY 🏳️‍🌈✨
Dating in the community for me as a #blacklesbian has probably been the most treacherous experience I’ve had since starting dating. 📝Side note: I dated (and using this word very lightly) men previous to my last relationship to my ex-girlfriend. So dating women is a whole new thing for me.
