Student Life While Working Full Time

Fun Fact: I became a paralegal before I got my degree. I was fortunate enough to work for a company that allowed me to grow from within and offer me training without going to school first. Now that I’ve been in this position for a few years, I’m working on expanding my knowledge and my goal is to have a very well rounded understanding of my career and all that is involved.

Managing school while working full time can be tough, but it is totally doable with proper organization and time management. I also am enrolled part time online, which helps me to work around my work and home schedule.

No matter what it takes, I’m going to get it done!

... Read moreManaging student life while working full time can feel overwhelming, but with the right strategies and mindset, it's achievable. Many students today face the challenge of juggling work and studies, especially those who are enrolled in online courses or part-time programs. One effective approach is to utilize calendars and planners to block out study time and work commitments. Prioritizing tasks based on deadlines can also help maintain a clear focus on what needs to be accomplished. Finding a supportive community, whether through online forums or local study groups, can provide encouragement and motivation. Networking with peers in similar situations can offer valuable insights and resources. Additionally, companies that provide flexible work hours or allow for remote responsibilities can greatly alleviate the stress of managing both responsibilities. It's essential to practice self-care and ensure that you're dedicating time to relax and recharge. Incorporating stress-management techniques, such as mindfulness or exercise, into your routine can lead to better productivity and well-being. Balancing student life and work requires commitment and discipline, but with effective time management and support, academic and professional goals can be achieved successfully.
