Replying to @Jerrilynn 🌺🇵🇷🧿 I feel like I did pretty good 🙂↕️ #declutter
Decluttering jackets can often feel overwhelming because outerwear tends to accumulate over time, and each piece may hold sentimental value or serve a specific purpose. Through my own experience, I’ve learned that breaking down the process into parts, like a 'part 3' phase, helps avoid burnout and keeps motivation high. One important tip I’ve found is to assess each jacket’s condition and usage honestly. Ask yourself: When was the last time I wore this? Does it still fit comfortably? Is it suitable for current weather and style preferences? This helps identify items that no longer add value. Another helpful approach is to categorize jackets by type—casual, formal, seasonal—and tackle one category at a time. This method offers a clearer perspective and allows quicker decisions, such as donating jackets that don’t fit anymore or exchanging them within community groups. Using hashtags like #declutter on social media platforms connects you with supportive communities where people share similar journeys. Engaging with others can provide motivation and new ideas for organizing your wardrobe. Overall, my progress so far has demonstrated that systematic jacket decluttering not only frees up space but also refreshes my appreciation for the pieces I truly love and use regularly. If you’re considering starting your own declutter project, I’d recommend starting with a small section and celebrating the wins along the way to stay encouraged.
