Recent shows I’ve watched & how I’d rate them

Rating the shows I’ve watched recently because I’m always looking for something new.

Some of these were SO good and some, eh.

I feel like sometimes it’s so hard to know what’s actually worth starting anymore.

If you’ve seen any of these, tell me if you agree or not!

Also I need new recommendations!

... Read moreAs someone who loves reality TV and drama, I can totally relate to the struggle of choosing what to watch next. It feels like there are so many shows out there, but not all of them deliver on their promises. From my recent watching spree, I found Breaking Bad to be an absolute masterpiece, especially the world-building in season 2, although season 3 was less engaging for me. On the other hand, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives offered consistent drama that kept me hooked with its unique storytelling, although some catchphrases like "momtok" got repeated a bit too much. Survivor remains one of my favorites for its blend of strategy, drama, and unpredictable eliminations. Jeff Probst’s hosting adds a special energy that keeps the game exciting, even if some episodes drag when fan favorites are voted off. I also enjoyed Jury Duty and its hilarious take on workplace dynamics with dry humor, which felt fresh and entertaining across both seasons. Beast Games was a guilty pleasure with its mix of strength challenges and social gameplay, though its first season was slower compared to the more engaging second season. Love is Blind intrigued me with its social experiment format, revealing true colors as couples met face-to-face. Age of Attraction raised interesting questions about whether age really matters in love, with participants showing very different behaviors when the dynamic shifted. Love Overboard had moments of fun and drama, although some personalities, like Gabby’s voice, got on my nerves occasionally. Temptation Island’s wild concept—putting couples in a setting to test loyalty—was entertaining despite some slow parts when everyone behaved themselves. If you’re looking for great shows to add to your watchlist, I would highly recommend starting with Breaking Bad for drama lovers, Survivor for reality competition fans, and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives for fresh storylines. Always open to new recommendations myself—feel free to share your favorites! It’s a great feeling when a show lives up to the hype or surprises you in unexpected ways. Happy watching, and here’s to finding that next binge-worthy series that keeps you glued to the screen!
