Grief comes and goes in waves 🌊

Grief is very weird and unexpected. One minute you can be fine the next you can be crying your heart out. One minute you think ā€˜I’m over it’ then it hits you again like tsunami the day you got told the person you loved died.

There is no timeline of grief and grief is not liner

But all in all Nana I miss you so much and I got that job you said would suit me ā¤ļøšŸ•Šļø

I wrote my way through grief
I didn’t write to move on. I wrote because I didn’t know how else to hold what I was feeling. Grief showed up in waves — sometimes soft, sometimes flooring. And my journal became the only place I didn’t have to pretend I was okay. I could rage. I could whisper. I could ask the questions that

🌿 Grief Isn’t Linear – But God Is Constant ✨
Grief doesn’t follow a straight line… some days you’re laughing, and the next day you’re back in tears. That doesn’t mean you’re failing it means you’re human. šŸ’“The Bible reminds us that there’s a time to mourn and a time to dance (Ecclesiastes 3:4), and through it all, God is near to the brokenhea

It comes and goes in waves šŸ«¶šŸ»šŸ–¤ I’ve been processing more than just her loss. She was my last living grandparent, and not being able to make it to any of their funerals, because they were all in Mexico and I was pregnant or have anyone be able to help with the kids, has hit harder than I thought.
