Semaine en Gaspésie près de l’eau! 🦞🌊
Spending a week in Gaspésie really opened my eyes to how charming and rejuvenating this region is, especially when you’re near the water. From my personal experience, the combination of stunning coastal views and fresh, delicious seafood creates the perfect backdrop for quality family time. We loved stepping away from our busy routines to just relax and enjoy simple pleasures like eating lobster and other local specialties. One thing I noticed is how the climate seems to be warming up over the years, making Gaspésie feel a bit like a hidden gem — almost reminiscent of Florida's mild, sunny vibe but with its unique charm. If you love nature, you’ll appreciate the peaceful countryside where natural boundaries like stone walls and hedges replace fences, giving a sense of openness and tranquility. What really stood out to me was how quickly the week went by. Seven days felt too short to soak in all that Gaspésie offers, from the fresh air to the moments with family disconnected from screens. For future visits, I’d recommend planning for a longer stay to really unwind and explore more outdoor activities like hiking, visiting local markets, or simply enjoying the calming waterside atmosphere. If you seek a vacation that combines nature, excellent seafood, and a chance to disconnect, Gaspésie is definitely a destination to consider. The warm weather and welcoming landscape create an ideal spot for any family — whether you’re looking to relax or make new memories together.
