Prochain workshop le 16 Mai à midi! 🍵
Maintenant je peux plus me faire avoir 😂
Ce que j’ai adoré :
✨ toutes les explications hyper détaillées
✨ l’expérience immersive (t’es vraiment dans l’ambiance)
✨ les pâtisseries japonaises… INCROYABLES
Je valide à 100%. Que tu sois solo ou avec tes amis, c’est une activité à faire au moins une fois. En plus c’est en plein centre de Montréal!
Alors dis-moi… tu bois du vrai matcha ou pas encore ? 🍵✨

As someone who recently experienced the Japanese tea ceremony at Sakao Japanese Tea in Montreal, I can confidently say it’s a unique way to deepen your appreciation for matcha beyond just drinking it casually. One subtle but game-changing lesson I learned is the importance of water temperature when preparing matcha. Too hot, and the delicate flavors become bitter; too cool, and you don’t extract the full flavor profile. This precise temperature control truly highlights the craftsmanship behind ceremonial matcha. Another eye-opening aspect was understanding the difference between ceremonial grade matcha and regular matcha. Ceremonial matcha is vibrant, finely ground, and made specifically for drinking in tea ceremonies, while other types might be used for cooking or lattes where the quality is less critical. The immersive ambiance at Sakao makes you feel transported to a traditional Japanese setting, which elevates the experience beyond a simple tea tasting. Plus, the Japanese sweets served alongside the tea beautifully balance the earthy bitterness of matcha, creating a perfect harmony of flavors. If you find yourself in Montreal and want a cultural and sensory experience, attending a tea ceremony like this is a fantastic idea. Whether alone or with friends, it offers a peaceful moment to slow down, connect with the tradition of tea, and savor something truly authentic. It definitely enhanced my appreciation of matcha and left me eager to explore more Japanese cultural experiences.
