“I only want bigger legs.” — Me 2 years ago😂😂😂
When I first started my fitness journey, my sole focus was on getting bigger legs. I thought it would be a straightforward process of squats and lunges. However, as I progressed, I found myself surprisingly drawn to upper body training days. It turns out these sessions can be incredibly engaging and addictive, offering a different kind of satisfaction than leg workouts. Upper body workouts not only help create a well-rounded physique but also improve posture and strength that support leg exercises. Incorporating exercises like bench presses, pull-ups, and rows brought variety and renewed excitement to my routine. The surprising part was how these upper body days became something I looked forward to almost as much as leg days, breaking the monotony and keeping my motivation high. What’s more, balancing leg and upper body training minimized muscle imbalances and reduced fatigue, making my overall progress more sustainable. For anyone starting out wanting to focus on one area, I recommend embracing a full-body approach. You might discover new strengths and interests along the way, just like I did with upper body workouts.
