No preservatives, no junk. Heavy whipping cream and my “butter making” mixer. I poured 1 quart of hwc in the bowl. Turned it on medium. Checked after a couple of minutes and scraped down side. Put back on medium speed. Checked after a few more minutes and scraped side. Starting to look like a cool whip consistency! Keep going bumped speed up to medium high. Getting thicker! Finally butter and butter milk. I squeezed all the butter milk out and put in separate container. Shaped my butter into container and in the fridge. That’s it! What I appreciate most is that this process doesn’t involve any preservatives or additives, aligning with a healthier lifestyle. Plus, it’s budget-friendly since a quart of heavy whipping cream is often more economical compared to buying specialty butters. Experimenting with this method has also sparked my interest in making other dairy products at home.
