My method of preventing razor burn and diminishing the appearance of strawberry legs ❤️

Dry brushing is a great way of exfoliating the skin when outside of the shower. Personally, I wash my body with a dry brush and soap lol. Exfoliates and cleans.

A scrub for right before your shave to smooth the skin and let the razor glide softly and prevent any irritation.

A sharp blade is very important when shaving any part of your body. It prevents razor burn, reduces irritation, and lessens the chance of knicks and cuts of the skin.

Lotion is good for the skin after shaving and showers. Shaving can dry out the skin, especially paired with exfoliants.

I’ve refined my shaving routine to specifically target and eliminate these common skin woes, giving me incredibly smooth legs. Here’s a deeper dive into how each step truly makes a difference. First up, let's talk about dry brushing frequently. This isn't just a trendy wellness hack; it's a game-changer for preventing ingrown hairs and improving your skin’s texture. I incorporate it into my routine 2-3 times a week, always before showering. The key is gentle, upward strokes towards your heart. This physical exfoliation helps shed dead skin cells that can trap hairs, leading to those pesky razor bumps and even exacerbating the appearance of strawberry legs. It also boosts circulation, which can give your skin a healthier glow. When I started doing this, I noticed a significant reduction in how often I’d get those tiny, irritated spots. Next, the power of exfoliate during shower with a good scrub. While dry brushing is excellent, a targeted scrub right before shaving takes it to the next level. I use a gentle body polish to really smooth out the skin's surface.
