I graduated nursing school🥳
I remember when I first got my apartment beautiful, mine, and I was doing so good as a CNA. Then I got accepted into nursing school. That meant moving to a different state and starting all over. I had to break my lease. I moved to Tennessee with basically nothing, because I couldn’t afford to bring my things with me even my mattress went to friends.
I had no savings left for school. Every dollar went to breaking that lease and letting go of everything I owned. It broke me in ways I didn’t expect.
But God. God. God.
He made a way for me to pay my school fees and get through the program. And today, I got pinned as a nurse.
Now I’m moving again, starting over once more. I don’t know exactly what’s waiting for me out there, but my faith in Jesus is bigger than my fear. I know I’ll pass my NCLEX. I know I’ll be fine.

Many students share that encouragement from friends, family, and mentors provides essential emotional fuel. Getting pinned as a nurse symbolizes not just completion of a program, but the start of a meaningful career dedicated to caring for others. Preparing for and passing the NCLEX licensure exam is the next hurdle, and confidence can grow from the knowledge and practical experience gained during school. Utilizing NCLEX review tools and study groups can enhance readiness significantly. Lastly, starting over multiple times—whether in new living situations or career phases—can cultivate resilience. Embracing change with faith and a positive outlook helps nursing graduates adapt to future challenges, securing their success and fulfillment in the healthcare field.
