Two faces have I
i wrote this in the midst of a depression. I have #BPD and have been in #bpdrecovery for as many years as I can remember. #Emotions are a little different for people with #BPD. I hope everyone out there currently struggling finds the #supportandlove they need.
Living with Borderline Personality Disorder has given me a unique perspective on emotions and their impact on daily life. One thing I've learned is that emotions can be overwhelming but recognizing they are feelings, not facts, helps in managing them more effectively. During moments when I feel high or uplifted, such as described in my writing, I find joy in simply appreciating these feelings. It’s a reminder that even amidst struggles, happiness is possible. Support systems are invaluable on this journey. Connecting with communities focused on #bpdrecovery and sharing experiences has helped me feel less alone. If you’re facing similar challenges, reaching out for support can be life-changing. Remember, the way we see ourselves often impacts our emotions the most. Self-compassion and understanding that others are mostly focused on their own lives can lessen the pressure we put on ourselves. I hope my experience encourages others to seek support, embrace their emotions, and find moments of peace and happiness along their path.
