Very sweet. How to quit?
Heavy sweet addiction is not only "like to eat," but also about the brain, stress, hormones and habits that the body is used to, so it has to be adjusted gradually rather than raw.
How it actually helps and doesn't suffer too much:
👉 eat protein in the morning.
For example, eggs, Greek yogurt, high-protein milk will help stabilize blood sugar, and then afternoon sweetness will decrease.
👉 don't let go hungry.
A lot of sweet addicts are actually "energy falls." When you're hungry, the brain will order dessert as soon as possible.
👉 level by level. Don't quit immediately.
If eating 100% sweet, try to reduce it to 70% first, such as milk tea from normal sweet → sweet 50% → 25%.
👉 change "regular dessert."
Such as
🥃 soft drink → sparkling water
🥃 milk tea → Americano with milk
Candy 🥃 → Natural sweet fruits like grapes, bananas, strawberries.
👉 be careful of sleep deprivation.
Little sleep = body calls sugar much stronger
👉 if stressed, will want to be sweet easily
Many people use sweet, unconsciously soothing emotions. Try something else instead, such as walking, listening to music, bathing, or chewing gum.
👉 don't keep the sweet stuff close to you.
What's in front of us will be much easier to eat than we thought.
✨ the first three or seven days will be the most painful because the tongue and brain are used to dopamine from sugar, but then the taste will start to reset, and the "unsweetened" will start to sweeten.
