angel cake & cream VS 🪽🧁✨

OMG, you guys, I finally tried the Victoria's Secret Angel Cake & Cream fragrance mist and matching lotion, and I'm totally obsessed! I'd been seeing it pop up everywhere, and as a huge fan of gourmand scents, I knew I had to get my hands on it. First off, let's talk about the scent itself. When I first sprayed the fragrance mist, I was hit with this incredible, warm, sweet aroma. It's definitely not just a basic vanilla. I get a strong sense of fluffy, vanilla cake, almost like a freshly baked cupcake with a creamy, sweet frosting. It's got that cozy, comforting vibe that makes you want to snuggle up. I can detect hints of something slightly fruity or berry-like in the background, which adds a nice lift and prevents it from being too heavy. It’s truly like a little slice of heaven in a bottle – hence the "Angel Cake" part, I guess! Now, the matching lotion is where the magic truly happens for layering. I love applying the lotion right after a shower. It instantly makes my skin feel super soft and hydrated, and the scent is just as divine, perhaps even a little richer and creamier than the mist initially. The combination of the lotion and then a few spritzes of the mist creates this beautiful, long-lasting scent bubble around me. I've found that when I use both, the scent lingers for hours, much longer than the mist alone. On its own, the mist probably gives me a good 2-3 hours, but with the lotion, I'm easily getting 4-5 hours, which is pretty impressive for a body mist! The packaging is also super cute. The bottle for the mist is classic VS, but the lotion bottle, as you can see, has these adorable little wings, a cake, and a heart emoji on it, which totally fits the vibe. It even looked great sitting on my dresser against a leopard print background – just adds to the aesthetic! I think this scent is perfect for pretty much any occasion, especially if you love sweet scents. It's not overpowering, so you could wear it to work or school, but it's also sweet and inviting enough for a date night or just chilling at home. It makes me feel happy and cozy, like wrapping myself in a warm blanket. If you're into other Victoria's Secret scents like Bare Vanilla or Warm & Cozy, but want something that leans a bit more into that bakery, dessert-like category, then Angel Cake & Cream is definitely one to try. I've gotten so many compliments when I wear this! People are always asking what I'm wearing because it smells so delicious. It's become my go-to lately for a comforting, sweet fragrance.
