How I revived my curls ✨

This was my biggest struggle growing up!

I hateeeed my hair! Growing up with a colorist community and individuals who only had straight hair made it difficult to love my hair and treat it right! I've straightened it and dyed it for years without caring about what it did to my hair.

I was always an impatient girl and didn't want to go out with ugly hair; however, I learned to love braids in my hair and avoid feeling fear of looking too ethnic! So I wore braids in the time my hair took to heal from all the damaged and did bonding solutions and hair masks and routine.

After 6 months I started to see my hair flourish with curls I didn't know I had! I get so many compliments on my hair and it makes me happy bc it used to be something I thought was ugly and undesirable.

I won't lie either I didn't make the choice on my own. I was forced to wear my natural hair after my straight hair stopped doing its thing. It looked bad straight and so this was a last resort but it all worked out for the best! Its a struggle of course and doing this routine isn't always fine but I think it's worth it!
