HOT TAKE 🍋
Hot take time 👇
At the park, my 13-month-olds were pushed down by an older kid. Twice. Once with his hands on my son’s face.
The mom was right there, watching… and chose to say nothing.
I stepped in — not to yell, but to draw the line. Because here’s the truth:
Respect isn’t optional. My twins are barely toddlers, and they’re already learning to stand their ground because I stand for them. Kids test limits — that’s normal. Parents ignoring it? That’s not growth, that’s avoidance.
Call it “boys being boys” or “he’s just little” if you want. I’ll say it again: respect isn’t optional. If my twins are old enough to be shoved, your child is old enough to be corrected.
Exhausted or not, I’ll stand up for mine every single time.
