Seeing the expression on Caden's face—how focused and full of love he was—reminded me why we chose to share this journey together. It’s incredible how watching such a raw and personal moment can deepen your appreciation for the experience of bringing a new life into the world. For new moms and dads, I highly recommend recording or having someone capture your birth story, whether through video or photos. It acts not only as a keepsake but also as a reminder of the strength and dedication you both share. The first time you watch it might be intense, even tearful, but it helps process all the feelings involved in becoming a parent. I also noticed how important it is to have your partner close during labor. Their support and presence create an unspoken bond that lasts well beyond that moment. Sharing this video helped me reflect on the early days of mom life—the exhaustion, the wonder, and the unconditional love. It’s a gentle reminder that every tough moment is part of a larger story, one filled with happiness and love. If you’re a first-time mom or dad, take the time to review your birth memories, and don’t be surprised if it moves you deeply. It’s a precious piece of your family’s beginning and something to cherish forever.
