QUALY x Pae tam:da “Art for a Sustainable World”
Prepare to meet the work of "TAM: DA" or "Pei-Thanawat Mani Nava," Thai creatives, artists, inventors, designers, who create works by adapting waste materials and waste around them, building them, and turning them into a unique work full of fun, creativity and imagination.
In a special project that Qualy invited 15 Thai artists to interpret the term "Art for a Sustainable World" through the creation of Painting & Sculpture from Qualy's World Recycled Materials.
TAM: DA has conveyed the idea through the works "New World" and "Ganesha Pang, Preserving the Pre-Lost World" that reflects the modern world, amid daily warming temperatures, and man's frenzied use of plastic without end.
Painting "New World" is like welcoming people into a new world full of plastic waste and the effects of human consumption, to become a reflection of the world we create ourselves.
As Sculpture, "Ganespang, the guardian of the pre-lost world," uses Ganesha as a symbol of wisdom and creativity, likening it to the power to turn "leftovers" back into sustainable value, and questioning human passion from "love, greed, anger, passion" to the idea of "guarding the world before we go astray" to remind humans of the world we live in before wandering into the consumption and use of resources recklessly.
