No matter what you have gone thru…choose yourself.
These past few years tore me apart emotionally, mentally and physically. I’ve never felt this much hurt in my entire life. But thru it all God made a good come out of it. My kids. Even though my heart is shattered into. Million pieces, Jesus is always there. To pick up each piece and putting it back together.
Sometimes in life you have to go thru a huge storm in order to have a masterpiece. God will ALWAYS make a bad good. You just gotta have faith in Him. This era I choose me. ❤️🩹
Life often challenges us with difficult storms that seem overwhelming, but choosing yourself is a powerful act of self-love and healing. From my own experience, embracing this mindset allowed me to regain control over my mental and emotional well-being during trying times. I found that having faith—whether in God or simply in the process of healing—creates a foundation for resilience. When heartbreak feels like it shatters us, it’s important to remember that healing doesn’t mean forgetting the pain but learning to piece ourselves back together stronger than before. Surrounding yourself with supportive loved ones, practicing mindfulness, and seeking spiritual comfort can help restore hope. I also found that self-care is essential during recovery; simple routines like morning reflections, journaling feelings, or spending quality time with family, much like the author mentioned about her children, can bring joy amidst struggle. Remember, this era is about self-prioritization—you deserve kindness and patience from yourself. Ultimately, choosing yourself means trusting the process that bad times can be transformed into something meaningful, a masterpiece formed through faith, perseverance, and love for oneself. This approach has helped me improve my mental health and find peace, even when facing a broken heart.
