Friendships Rooted in Christ
A year ago, I wouldn’t even show my face in public. I had lost friends and family, and I was watching church online because I couldn’t bring myself to go.
My Pastor encouraged me to make friends. I straight up told him I didn’t want to and I was terrified! But he still pushed me.
And now, a year later, God has surrounded me with the most incredible group of women. Women who love Him deeply. Women I didn’t even know I needed. Last year nothing made sense, nothing. And while some things still feel unknown, one thing I do know is this: God blessed me abundantly through these God-fearing women.
Why do I share this? Because I know there are so many who feel the same isolation and shame I once did. And I promise you, God wants to move in your life too. Just lean in. Trust His plan. He goes before you, and He’s already preparing your people and your way.
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together… but encourage one another.
