My ACNH Update

I’m back in my ✨ACNH✨ Era!

I played back in 2021 and then by the end of the year stopped because I got bored.

I was an amateur at the time as well.

Over the years I have watched videos and even reset my island. Now that I’m back playing I want to learn. Ore and aim for a 5 star island!

I’m going to hunt villagers, collect all the fish and flowers, and design the cutest island ever!

Some themed areas of the island or my ACNH home:

-bobs burgers restaurant (my favorite show on this earth)

-a bee shop/farm area

-tea shop

-book area

-beach area

-and more!

... Read moreHey everyone! Since I've jumped back into Animal Crossing: New Horizons and restarted my island, Honeycomb, I've been super focused on making progress and eventually hitting that coveted 5-star rating. It's a fresh start, and I'm learning so much about optimizing my daily playtime to make the most of it. One of the biggest game-changers for me has been creating a 'daily tasks' checklist, similar to what you might use in the ACNH Pocket app. Every morning, I make sure to gather my daily resources like wood, iron nuggets, and fossils, as well as watering my flowers and talking to all my villagers – even temporary ones like Phoebe and Samson! These small, consistent actions really add up, helping me collect bells to pay off Tom Nook's loans faster and upgrade my home. Plus, finding new tools and unlocking features like Blathers' museum and eventually the Able Sisters' shop is so rewarding. For those aiming for a 5-star island like me, I've found a few key things really help. First, 'decoration points' are crucial! Placing a variety of furniture, fences, and flowers across your island significantly boosts your rating. Don't forget to clean up weeds and pick up any dropped items, as clutter can lower your score. Another tip is to ensure good 'villager happiness' by interacting with them daily and fulfilling their requests. Once you've paid off your initial loans and expanded your home, focus on creating distinct, themed areas – like my plans for a Bob's Burgers restaurant or a cozy book nook. These unique spots contribute a lot to the aesthetic and appeal, drawing you closer to that 5-star dream. Progressing in ACNH goes beyond just daily chores. It's about setting clear goals, like hunting for specific dream villagers (I'm currently eyeing a few on my list!) or unlocking all the design abilities. Don't rush; enjoy the journey of transforming your deserted island into a bustling community. Using external resources like the ACNH Pocket Guide app has been invaluable for tracking collections, villager preferences, and even turnip prices. It really helps to plan out your island's progression and ensures you're on track to achieve your unique island paradise. What are your top tips for a new ACNH islander?
