The first few days, along with side effects:
While taking half the serving recommendation, I chose to take half of it to get my body adjusted to this supplement for a few days. During the first two days, I noticed a slight decrease in appetite and some loose bowel movements, but nothing too severe. I also found that I couldn’t stand eating certain foods, like greasy meats and didn’t have much of craving for sweets.
The last few days:
The last few days, I increased the dosage to the full serving recommendation to help with a high blood sugar spike from a certain snack I ate. A few hours after upping the dosage, I experienced a little nausea but nothing too severe.
Overall, I would like to say that by increasing the dosage, some of the side effects are slightly similar to those of Ozempic, which I usually take in doses of 1-2mg every other week. These include feeling unwell when attempting to eat certain meats and fatty foods, along with a lowered appetite, especially when trying to eat a course full meal. I was unable to eat full size servings or was too full to even think of seconds.
As my overall goal is to lower my A1C and eventually get my diabetes into remission, my goal this coming week (11/11 - 11/17) with the current supplemental boost I take and working on a diet change by readjusting my nutritional plans, with swapping out some processed foods with healthier options, and increasing daily workouts.
