It’s too hot

This is just from walking outside to throw the trash. It’s way to hot and my little heart can’t take it. I’m tired of summer and most definitely ready for some cooler weather. Counting down the days.
Extreme heat can have significant effects on heart rate and overall cardiovascular health. As highlighted by the increased heart rate readings of 109-113 BPM during mild physical activity like walking outside, it's important to recognize how our bodies respond to elevated temperatures. Heat causes blood vessels to dilate, which can increase heart rate and strain the heart, particularly in individuals with pre-existing heart conditions. To manage this heightened strain, it's crucial to take proactive measures such as staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water, avoiding outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day, wearing loose and light-colored clothing, and seeking shade or air-conditioned environments whenever possible. Monitoring your heart rate with wearable devices can provide real-time insights into how your body is coping with the heat. Additionally, recognizing signs of heat exhaustion—such as dizziness, rapid heartbeat, and excessive sweating—is essential for timely intervention. Incorporating strategies like cooling towels, misting fans, and frequent breaks can help reduce the cardiovascular burden. As summer temperatures continue to rise globally, understanding the relationship between heat and heart rate is critical for maintaining health and preventing heat-related illnesses. Preparing for cooler weather while managing current heat stress can improve comfort and safety during challenging summer days.

Yuck. It’s 102° here in Washington state and I’m so ready for fall. 😭
