Work hard,eat up

5/23 Edited to

... Read moreOver the past two weeks, I’ve been navigating the delicate balance between socializing and maintaining my health goals. Eating out or enjoying meals with friends can often tempt us with rich, flavorful foods that are hard to resist—places like 鼎铭香麻辣香锅 and 龙徽御宴 serve some truly indulgent dishes. I found myself drawn to the authentic tastes of 中华风味湘菜馆 and the fresh offerings at Tianlai Seafood Garden. While these meals are incredibly delicious, they pose a challenge when trying to stick to a weight loss journey. What helped me was focusing on mindful eating—savoring each bite and choosing portions carefully rather than restricting myself completely. Social events didn’t have to derail my efforts; instead, I prioritized balance by enjoying a variety of foods without overindulging. For instance, at 华阳 and 北京楼 北, I opted for steamed or grilled options alongside spicy dishes to keep my meals satisfying yet manageable. Sharing these experiences has reminded me that a successful loseweightjourney doesn’t mean giving up the joy of eating or social connection. It’s about making thoughtful choices and embracing the vibrant culinary culture without guilt. For anyone on a similar path, I recommend planning meals ahead when possible, staying hydrated, and not being afraid to enjoy the foods you love in moderation. This approach sustained my energy levels and kept me motivated to work hard in both social and personal health goals.

You can work hard every single day…
and still end up with a life you never wanted. I think that’s one of the scariest realizations I’ve had recently. Most people don’t actually have a motivation problem. They have a direction problem. For a long time, I thought working harder was enough. Study more. Do more. Stay bu

6 years of balancing PT studies📚 and FT work💼
Hey Zesties, Let’s #BeReal part-time studies and full-time work is freaking hard! It’s definitely not for everyone. Let me share my experience. My 6 years of my university journey was full of ups and downs. Most of my peers completed their degree within 3 or 4 yrs. Well not for me sadly.

Exclusive pumping at work : hard or manageable? 🤔
Before I returned back to work, pumping at work honestly stressed me out more than I expected 🥹 Not easy, not glamorous, and definitely not something anyone prepares you enough for. Between meetings, deadlines, and trying not to look like you’re “disappearing” during work hours, pumping in the

Working Hard Cannot Be The Only Plan
NO ONE TALKS ABOUT THIS 👇🏼 You wake up. Go to work. Clear the emails. Attend the meetings. Handle the pressure. Come home tired. Eat something quickly. Scroll a little. Then get ready to do it all over again. And somehow, we call this “stable”. I don’t hate my job. But I also know
