Sunday morning as a mom be like… let me hurry up and eat before somebody asks me for something 😭
Threw this breakfast together real quick — eggs, cheese piled up (because I deserve), buttery English muffin doing what it was supposed to do. Iced coffee on standby because motherhood is ghetto without caffeine.
This is that small pocket of peace before:
• everybody wakes up
• the questions start
• the week starts loading in my head
• I remember I got 20 things to do
Not glam, not aesthetic, just real mom life. Eating, yapping to myself, and pretending I’m resting 😅
Anyway… that’s it. That’s the yap.
Happy Sunday to the moms holding it together one coffee at a time 🤍

... Read moreSunday mornings as a mom are truly a unique blend of calm and chaos. I’ve found that carving out even just a few minutes to enjoy a simple breakfast and a cup of coffee feels like a small victory. The key is quick and satisfying meals—something like buttery English muffins topped with cheese and eggs that you can prepare fast but still feel like a treat. And yes, plenty of iced coffee because caffeine is the unsung hero behind surviving motherhood’s endless demands.
This quiet moment before the day fully begins is precious. It’s a time when you can recharge your mental batteries, even if it’s just pretending to be at rest while your mind races through the to-do list. Those first moments when everyone else is still asleep provide a mental breather to gather your thoughts before the questions and tasks flood in.
Motherhood really is 'real talk'—not always glamorous or Pinterest-perfect breakfasts, but real, practical moments. Sometimes it’s about embracing imperfection and enjoying those little pockets of peace, even if they’re short-lived. Sharing these snapshots makes me feel connected to other moms out there who live this daily juggling act. If you’re holding it together one cup of coffee at a time, you’re definitely not alone.
