Yes, the girl who eats her way through Chicago avoided coconut anything! It was a hard pass.
But plot twist.. I just had fresh coconut water straight out of the shell, chive cakes, and the most comforting green curry w/ jasmine rice at Siam Thai Eatery Chicago and I might be a convert 👏
Turns out the food I ran away from as a kid is now kinda my new obsession. Isn’t it funny how your taste buds grow up before you do?
