Filming French hours was new to a lot of us. It was cold, wet and muddy out. However, everyone on set were super chill, so it made the day go by fast.
Filming outdoors in cold and muddy conditions can be quite a challenge, but it often brings the crew closer together. During our shoot of "French Hours," the weather was definitely not on our side, with wet grounds and chilly air making the environment tough. However, the positive vibes and easygoing nature of everyone on set really helped keep morale high. One interesting aspect of this filming day was how everyone bonded over simple comforts, like craving Starbucks to warm up and take a break. Sharing these little moments of humor and support made a big difference in keeping spirits uplifted. It's amazing how a tough outdoor shoot can still feel enjoyable when the people involved maintain a friendly and supportive atmosphere. I also noticed that having designated craft tables and organized spaces helped manage the chaos that unsettled weather can cause. Keeping things in order and having areas to relax between takes helped us stay efficient and comfortable. Overall, shooting "French Hours" reminded me that while environmental obstacles are inevitable, a calm and friendly crew can transform the experience into something rewarding and memorable. This keeps me motivated for future projects, knowing that teamwork and attitude are just as critical as the technical side of filming.
