Sponsored by Century 21, the event was filled with activities that kept everyone entertained throughout the day. One highlight was indulging in tasty CHO snacks which gave us a little energy boost before hitting the ice rink. Watching the Croatian National Final called DORA on my phone added a unique cultural touch to the day, blending entertainment off the rink with the lively atmosphere on the ice. Spending time skating alongside my siblings and cousins made the experience even more special. It’s always fun to see everyone’s different skating styles — from beginners cautiously gliding to more confident skaters showing off moves. The rink was bustling with laughter and enthusiasm, reminding me how such events bring families and communities closer together. Another exciting moment was the raffle prize announcement, where my older brother unexpectedly won! Events like this add an extra layer of excitement and make attending feel very rewarding. Before leaving, taking pictures at the photo booth helped capture these joyful memories. Sipping coffee while watching the rest of the Croatian National Final was a relaxed way to wind down and reflect on the day. Overall, the combination of sponsored snacks, engaging activities on and off the ice, and time spent with loved ones made this Family Day skating event unforgettable. For anyone looking for a wholesome family outing, consider events like these that mix active fun with cultural entertainment and community spirit.
