THIS IS WHAT THE SOVEREIGN LORD JEHOVAH(YHWH) HAS SAID: ‘…HERE I AM CREATING NEW HEAVENS AND A NEW EARTH AND THE FORMER THINGS WILL NOT BE CALLED TO MiND, NEITHER WILL THEY COME UP
INTO THE HEART.’ “
—Isaiah 65:13, 17; also see 2 Peter 3:13.
Romans 5:12-21 offers a powerful message about the human condition and the hope for renewal. From personal experience, reflecting on this scripture helped me grasp how one man's actions—Adam's original disobedience—led to death affecting all humanity. This contrasted with life restored by Jesus Christ brings a hopeful view for believers. The passage emphasizes that sin and death came through one man, but grace and life come through another. This teaches us about accountability and redemption, concepts that resonate beyond religious study into daily living. It has encouraged me to approach challenges with faith, knowing that renewal is possible. Additionally, the reference to Isaiah’s promise of “new heavens and a new earth” and 2 Peter's affirmation carries a vision that the past will not burden the future. In practical terms, it reminds me that despite setbacks, spiritual and personal growth can lead to a new beginning. Embracing this scriptural insight has helped me to foster hope and resilience, seeing life as a continual process of renewal, aligned with divine promises mentioned in these passages.
