25-26 years ago, there was an incident in a small village in Sakon Nakhon Nakhon, and someone told me that during the evening, a picture of a black dog came through the village, and that the villagers saw that it was around nightfall, and that the image came to sleep at their house.
It was not until the next morning that the villagers who put the monks to bed turned out to be dead, lying motionless at home for no reason..!!Not only that, the pets inside the house died in a way. The organs disappeared.
Since then, the villagers of the village have become frightened. If anyone sees a black dog walking past, they will run away and forbid it from entering their homes, because they all believe that it is a shapeshifting ogre that kills the village.
The horror story is repeated in the same village once again, when a nun walks around carrying a cat in a house where a villager who doesn't know enough opens his home in the morning also dies..!!
At that time, the horrors became both monks and nuns, supposedly rampant in the village, until villagers, including shamans, joined forces to expel the ghoul in the northeastern fashion, and thereafter no dog or cat-carrying monk was ever found..!!

เรื่องราวของพระอุ้มหมาและแม่ชีอุ้มแมวที่เกิดขึ้นในหมู่บ้านจังหวัดสกลนครนั้น ถือเป็นหนึ่งในตำนานพื้นบ้านที่สร้างความหวาดกลัวและความสนใจแก่ผู้คนในชุมชนและผู้ที่ได้ยินเรื่องเล่าต่อกันมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ในชีวิตจริง เราอาจไม่เคยพบเจอเหตุการณ์เหนือธรรมชาติแบบนี้ด้วยตนเอง แต่เมื่อได้ฟังเรื่องเล่าเหล่านี้ มันทำให้คิดถึงความเชื่อและวิถีชีวิตของคนในภาคอีสานที่มีความเกี่ยวข้องลึกซึ้งกับวัฒนธรรมความเชื่อเรื่องผีปอบและสิ่งลี้ลับต่าง ๆ จากประสบการณ์ที่ได้เห็นและฟังจากหลาย ๆ คนในพื้นที่ ความกลัวต่อผีปอบหรือสิ่งเร้นลับนั้นไม่ได้เป็นเพียงแค่ความหวาดกลัวเล็กน้อย แต่มันส่งผลกระทบต่อการใช้ชีวิตประจำวัน เช่น การระมัดระวังตัวเมื่อเห็นพระหรือแม่ชีที่เดินจูงหมาหรืออุ้มแมวผ่านเข้ามาในหมู่บ้าน เพราะชาวบ้านเชื่อว่าอาจเป็นผีปอบแฝงตัวมาเพื่อทำร้าย การที่หมอผีและชาวบ้านร่วมมือกันทำพิธีขับไล่ปอบ เป็นสิ่งที่สะท้อนถึงความเชื่อและความสามัคคีของชุมชนในการปกป้องตนเองจากภัยที่ไม่รู้จัก แสดงให้เห็นถึงการผสมผสานระหว่างความเชื่อกับการแก้ไขปัญหาในชีวิตจริงอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ นอกจากนี้ ตำนานนี้ยังทำให้เราเห็นความสำคัญของการถ่ายทอดเรื่องเล่าพื้นบ้าน เพื่อช่วยให้คนรุ่นหลังได้เรียนรู้วัฒนธรรม ตลอดจนเข้าใจถึงการดำรงชีวิตและความเชื่อของบรรพบุรุษ ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการสร้างเอกลักษณ์ชุมชนและภาคอีสาน สุดท้ายนี้ เรื่องราวของพระอุ้มหมาและแม่ชีอุ้มแมวอาจจะเป็นเรื่องเล่าที่ทำให้เราหวาดกลัวในบางมุม แต่ก็เป็นเรื่องที่ให้บทเรียนและสะท้อนความเป็นมนุษย์ในด้านความเชื่อ ความกลัว และการเผชิญหน้ากับสิ่งไม่รู้จักอย่างมีสติ และน่าสนใจสำหรับผู้ที่ชื่นชอบเรื่องราวเหนือธรรมชาติและวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่นอย่างแท้จริง
