Grief Changed Me. But Grace Carried Me 🩷

There was a time I didn’t think I’d survive this kind of pain.

I was a mama with empty arms and a shattered heart.

I didn’t know how to keep living without her…

But somehow, by God’s grace, I did.

Now I’m an angel mama to one, and a mom of three earthside.

I carry both grief and gratitude every day.

I get to honor her life while helping other mamas find light again too.

If you’re deep in the dark right now, please hear me:

Healing is possible.

You’re not broken.

You’re not alone. 🤍

... Read moreLosing a child is an unimaginable heartache, and many mothers find themselves grappling with deep sorrow and questions about their strength. It's vital to acknowledge that grief is not linear and impacts everyone differently. The reality is, it’s okay to feel broken; however, healing is possible. As I continued on my journey, I discovered various ways to cope and honor my daughter’s legacy. Embracing support from communities of other angel mamas, sharing stories, and participating in memorial traditions helped foster healing in a profound way. In moments of pain, I found strength through faith and personal reflection, reminding myself that each day presents new opportunities for healing and connection. By sharing my story, I aim to encourage other mothers in similar situations that they are not alone. Seek support, read about others’ experiences, and participate in local grief groups; these actions have the potential to bring light back into your life. Remember that grace often appears in the smallest gestures, from a friend’s message to an unexpected moment of joy. Allow yourself to embrace both the grief and gratitude for the time shared with your loved one, as it’s possible to move forward while keeping their memory alive. Together, we can navigate this challenging road and emerge with a heart filled with hope and purpose.
