The Lord's Word Through The Prophets
God still speaks to his people through prophets to redeem us if we listen to his will he works through Jesus to give us all his message it's not just for prophets it's for us also so we may be his chosen children that we may enter into his Holy Kingdom.
Throughout history, God has communicated His divine will to humanity in various ways. The Bible explains that in earlier times, God spoke to the fathers by the prophets — men chosen to deliver His messages. The book of Hebrews 1:1 affirms this by stating, "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son." This highlights a key aspect of Christian faith: while prophets were critical in conveying God’s word in the past, God’s ultimate revelation is through Jesus Christ. Jesus, appointed heir of all things and the creator of the world, serves as the definitive messenger of God's love and redemption. His teachings are not just for a select few but are meant for all people willing to listen and follow His will. Listening to God's word involves attentiveness and humility, allowing His message to transform our lives. This divine communication invites us to respond by embracing God's grace, making us His chosen children. The promise is profound — by accepting His guidance, we gain the blessing of entering into God's Holy Kingdom. In daily life, this means seeking spiritual growth through prayer, studying Scripture, and living out the teachings of Jesus. By doing so, believers affirm their connection to God’s ongoing work to redeem and restore humanity. The prophets paved the way, but Jesus embodies the fulfillment of God’s promises, inviting us all to experience His love and salvation.
