🌸March recap🌸

2024/4/1 Edited to

... Read moreMarch truly flew by, but it absolutely became my favorite month so far this year! Even though I didn't capture every single moment with my camera, the memories are vivid and precious. It was a wonderful mix of personal growth, cozy moments, and vibrant social interactions that made it feel incredibly fulfilling. One of my biggest achievements was finally finishing 'Call the Midwife'. There’s something so comforting about getting lost in a good series, and that one certainly delivered. It was the perfect way to unwind after long days of college work. Speaking of personal moments, I even decided to try out some new bangs! It’s amazing how a small change can make you feel refreshed and a little more confident. And yes, I bravely gave my brother a fresh haircut too – quite the experience! My kitchen (or rather, my dorm’s makeshift baking corner!) saw a lot of action. The aroma of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies filled the air more often than not. I also whipped up some delicious chocolate chip muffins and a pan of gooey brownies. There's just something incredibly therapeutic and rewarding about baking, especially when you get to share the treats with friends. It was great to have some homemade comforts during busy study periods. Beyond the fun and food, March was also a time for deeper reflection. I spent some quiet moments reconnecting with my faith, particularly through reading Genesis 24 from the NRSV-CI of the Bible. It provided a sense of peace and perspective that I really needed. It’s important to make time for spiritual well-being amidst all the hustle and bustle of student life. Socially, it was fantastic! I had a blast entertaining friends, and we discovered a super fun wooden tabletop game that led to hours of laughter and friendly competition. Balancing studies with quality time with friends is always a goal, and March definitely hit the mark. And of course, the absolute highlight was spending Easter with family. The road trip was an adventure in itself – catching some sleep during the drive to make sure I was refreshed for all the family festivities. Nothing beats those precious moments with loved ones, celebrating and making new memories. Even my college dorm room got a much-needed deep clean! It’s amazing how much better you feel and how much more productive you can be when your space is clean and organized. It felt like a fresh start, ready for the new challenges and excitements that April will bring. All these little moments combined truly made March unforgettable.
