To many self proclaimed titles

In my experience attending various church services and faith gatherings, I've often noticed a concerning trend: many individuals proudly display titles such as Pastor, Apostle, or Evangelist, yet their lifestyle and actions do not reflect the humility and obedience that true spiritual leadership demands. It can sometimes feel like a performance rather than a heartfelt devotion. This disconnect between proclaimed titles and genuine practice is what the original message passionately critiques. True leadership in a faith context, as highlighted by the biblical references from Jeremiah and Matthew, rests on obedience and doing the will of God rather than merely adopting impressive religious titles. I've personally encountered situations where the loud preaching of "holiness" or "anointing" masked behaviors rooted in pride, selfishness, or deception. Such contradictions can leave congregants disillusioned and skeptical about the sincerity of those in leadership positions. Reflecting on this, I find it crucial for faith communities to prioritize accountability and authenticity. Titles should not be worn as badges to command respect; rather, they should inspire service and genuine guidance. The essence of spirituality shines through consistent actions aligned with scriptural teachings, not through public declarations or social media portrayals of holiness. This perspective encourages each individual—leader or layperson—to examine their own walk of faith carefully.
