On Christmas Day, it’s only fitting to highlight the biggest Santa Parade in Western Canada, and that’s exactly what you’ll find in Fort Macleod.

This historic town, one of the oldest in Alberta, knows how to do Christmas right. They roll out a heartwarming Santa Parade that brings everyone together, no matter how chilly it is outside. With real reindeer, festive markets, and a town steeped in history (including a fort I finally got to explore), Fort Macleod felt like the perfect Christmas destination.
