How to be a gym girlie

1. Go no matter what

- Getting that is the hardest part. And even if you are tired, and give 10%. That’s better than the 0% you would be doing at home.

2. If you look good, you feel good.

- Put on something you feel cute in. If you feel confident, it will boost your mood to want to go. Some days I go in my bum clothes, other times I try to pull out my cutest gym clothes to make myself feel good.

3. Find a good home gym

- some people aren’t always comfortable working out in front of a bunch of other people. Look for small local gyms, apartments gyms, or even start to build your own at home gym. Where ever you choose to workout, pick somewhere you feel comfortable & GET MOVING!!!!!!!!!!

It’s incredibly satisfying to look back and see how far you've come! Don't underestimate the power of celebrating small victories. Once I got comfortable in my gym, I realized there's a whole world of workouts! Don't feel pressured to do what everyone else is doing. I experimented with everything from lifting weights (hello, strong girl era!) to dance fitness classes and even outdoor runs. The key is finding what you genuinely *enjoy*. If you love it, you'll stick with it. Don't be afraid to try new things – YouTube and fitness apps are amazing resources for discovering routines that might spark your interest. Remember, the goal is to feel good and challenge yourself, whether that's a quick, focused session or a longer, exploratory workout. This is your journey! Becoming a gym girlie isn't just about the sweat; it's a lifestyle! I quickly learned that what I put into my body significantly impacts my energy and results. I'm not talking about strict diets, but making mindful choices that fuel my workouts and recovery. Think about nourishing your body with plenty of protein, healthy fats, and complex carbs. Hydration is also a huge one! And mentally, some days are tougher than others. That's okay! On those days, I remind myself of my progress, my goals, and how amazing I feel after a workout. Sometimes, a cute new activewear set is all the motivation I need to get moving again – seriously, it works! Remember, consistency beats perfection every single time. Lastly, don't underestimate the power of a good support system. While finding a comfortable gym spot is crucial, having friends who share your fitness journey can be incredibly motivating. Whether it's a workout buddy, an online community, or just sharing your wins with family, having someone cheer you on makes a huge difference. We're all in this together, striving to be our healthiest, happiest selves. You got this, girl!
