"The Mother and Teacher of the Land" is the royal family of the Ministry of Education to Her Majesty the Queen of the Thousand Years on the occasion of the commemoration of 80 years in 2012, reflecting his concern for the education of the Thai people and his mythology for the widespread promotion of education, funding, caring for needy children and improving the quality of life of the people.
Thousand Year Luang is the mother and teacher of the land of the Thai people. As the mother of the land, he expresses compassion, concern and tender heart to the people of the whole country. He has given projects and initiatives in various dimensions to promote the health, quality of life, welfare and strength of family institutions, especially in mothers and children, women and youth, which are the cornerstones of society and the development of national human resources.
At the same time, as a teacher of the land, he valued education in knowledge, life skills, and empowering people to be self-reliant in a sustainable manner, supporting lifelong learning, developing teachers and educational practitioners, as well as promoting educational opportunities for children and youth in all areas to become knowledgeable, thoughtful, and intellectual in moving into the future.
The role of the mother and teacher of the land is not only a symbol of love and concern, reflecting the vision of human and social development, incubating the "heart" through love, compassion, and care, and incubating the "wisdom" through teaching, promoting, and creating opportunities for people to develop themselves as the basis of a strong and sustainable society.

นอกจากบทบาทในฐานะแม่และครูแห่งแผ่นดินที่ถูกยกย่องแล้ว สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ยังทรงมีพระมหากรุณาธิคุณอย่างลึกซึ้งในการส่งเสริมและดูแลเด็ก เยาวชน และสตรีไทยให้มีชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีขึ้น ผ่านโครงการพระราชดำริซึ่งสอดคล้องกับจิตใจของแม่ผู้ห่วงใยลูกๆ อย่างแท้จริง ในฐานะครูแห่งแผ่นดิน พระองค์ทรงส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้และพัฒนาทักษะชีวิตให้กับประชาชนทุกวัย เพื่อให้คนไทยสามารถพึ่งพาตนเองและเติบโตได้อย่างมั่นคง ทรงเห็นความสำคัญของการพัฒนาครูและการเปิดโอกาสทางการศึกษาในพื้นที่ห่างไกล ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการสร้างสังคมที่เข้มแข็งและยั่งยืน ด้วยพระเมตตาและพระวิสัยทัศน์นี้ ทำให้พระนาม "แม่และครูแห่งแผ่นดิน" ไม่เพียงเป็นการเปรียบเทียบ แต่เป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งความรักและความหวังที่ยังคงประทับอยู่ในใจของประชาชนไทยทุกคนอย่างลึกซึ้ง
