Green pot

Also known as a blessing pot is a blue / blue glazed container used in ancient Thai kitchens. The origin of the name "green pot" is due to the fact that old people often called blue or dark blue "green," used to pack lard, make merit at temples, or carry to work. It is now a charming vintage collection.

Description: It is a round Enamel Enamel with a wide mouth with handle.

Source of color: Despite the ancients calling green, the color actually seen is often dark blue (Blue) or indigo blue.

Historical use benefits:

Insert seasoning / oil: Use to put lard, set near the kitchen hearth.

Insert Merit: Tai Lue people are popularly used to pack merit food at the temple in the morning.
