February Wrap up
I read 5 books this month. 🥲
-Hunting Adeline by H.D Carlton
I really enjoyed this book from the moment Adeline was rescued from her kidnapping, how Zade tries to fight against the trafficking of children and women and helps them and how the story of Adeline and Zade concludes, I love this book.
-If I only had told her by Laura Nowlin
I really did not like this book at all
-Bride by Ali Hazelwood
Misery's story is very sad: a vampire destined to live among humans as collateral to maintain peace between species, later forced to marry Lowe, alpha of the Southern Pack, to maintain peace between vampires and werewolves.
-Where is Molly? By H.D Carlton
The story of Molly, a survivor of human trafficking, and how she falls in love with Cage when they meet again 10 years after their first intimate encounter before she disappeared. I liked this book because it answered questions about the journal in Hunting Adeline and how it helped Adeline to escape. I also like that they meet Zade and Adeline at the end of the book
-Phantom H.D Carlton
I have mixed feelings because the story takes place around 1944. A wife and mother falls in love with the right-hand man of an Italian mafia boss. Unable to leave her marriage for fear that her daughter will grow up without her father and that a judge will not approve her divorce, they are forced to wait until the daughter turns 18, not to mention that the husband is an alcoholic and violent towards her.
