February was a month full of surprises in my reading journey, especially as I ventured into genres I hadn’t explored much before. Diving into thrillers and reverse harem novels was a refreshing change from my usual picks. Books like 'King of Envy' by Ana Huang, with its billionaire romance and enemies-to-lovers twist, kept me hooked through 530 captivating pages. I also enjoyed 'Credence' by Penelope Douglas, a gripping dark romance featuring themes of coming of age and isolation, which pulled me in with its complex characters and emotional depth across 487 pages. Then there was 'The Inmate' by Frieda McFadden, a thriller blending mystery and a friends-to-lovers plotline over 388 pages, which kept my heart pounding. Lastly, 'Does it Hurt?' by H.D. Carlton combined dark romance and thriller elements with intense force-proximity and enemies-to-lovers dynamics, spanning 432 pages. The variety and intensity of these books made my February reads exciting and diverse. One major game-changer this month was using a Kindle. As someone who reads slowly, the adjustable font size and the overall convenience substantially boosted my reading speed and enjoyment. It reduced eye strain and made it easier to immerse myself in complex storylines without fatigue. For fellow readers looking to broaden their horizons, trying new genres like dark romance or thrillers can be rewarding. Also, using e-readers can enhance your reading experience, especially if you struggle with traditional books.
