Mom Goals: Keeping Smiles Healthy & Happy! 🦷✨

Being a full-time mom means juggling everything—from school drop-offs to meal prep, and yes, those oh-so-important appointments! 🗓️💪🏾 Today, we checked one big task off the list: the dentist! 🦷🪥

My little one handled it like a champ! (Peep her brave face in the chair—proud mama moment!) 🦹🏽‍♀️👧🏽 Teaching her early that taking care of her teeth is part of taking care of herself is so important. 💕

Sometimes, the hardest part is just making the time for these appointments when life feels so hectic. But showing up for our kids, even in the little ways, means everything. 💖✨

Creating a positive association with the dentist is essential; consider scheduling appointments around the child's favorite activities. Prepare your little ones beforehand by explaining what to expect during the visit, perhaps using storybooks featuring dental visits. Additionally, maintaining a consistent dental care routine at home—brushing twice a day and flossing—will help establish good habits. Remember, children love praise; make the experience rewarding! Incorporating fun elements into dental hygiene routines, like songs or colorful toothbrushes, can encourage kids to take ownership of their oral care. Engage in conversations about the importance of oral health—this not only educates but makes kids feel part of the process. Lastly, don't forget to celebrate small victories! Each successful dentist appointment is a win and sets the stage for a lifetime of healthy smiles.

Wow, how exciting. I am currently 25 years old and I still have a baby tooth. I thought it was really weird, but my dentist said that it was perfectly OK and it’s next to my two big front teeth too, which is crazy.
