I’ll keep sharing my 300-calorie healthy Chinese recipe series, and I’m so happy for all your support! I’m sharing how to eat healthy while keeping things as delicious as possible 😋.

I’m also a fitness enthusiast and have been working out for 11 years! During that time, I became paralyzed due to an intramedullary tumor, but after 3 years of rehab, I stood up again. At one point, I gained weight to 180 pounds due to hormone treatments and couldn’t exercise. I managed to get back to 140 pounds through diet control.

In the process of recovery, I also learned how to adjust abnormal posture, which I had to deal with throughout my rehab journey. I experienced pelvic tilt and rotation, uneven shoulders, and scoliosis, but things are much better now!

Forget those greasy takeout options; we can create vibrant, flavorful Chinese meals that are kind to our waistlines. One of the biggest keys is focusing on fresh ingredients and smart cooking methods. When I think about balance, I always make sure 'PROTEIN AND VITAMINS ARE' a priority. For example, a simple 'SHRIMP EGGS SCRAMBLED' can be a fantastic base for a 300-calorie meal. You get your lean protein from the shrimp and eggs, which keeps you feeling full and satisfied. I often add a generous amount of fresh 'CUCUMBER' slices on the side or even quickly stir-fry them for a refreshing crunch and extra vitamins. And what about carbs? We don't have to cut them out entirely! 'CARBOHYDRATE IS RICE' for many Chinese dishes, and the trick is simply portion control. A small serving of steamed brown rice or even cauliflower rice can provide that satisfying base without overdoing the calories. Paired with plenty of 'CELLULOSE SHREDDED CABBAGE' in your stir-fries, you're boosting your fiber intake, which is great for digestion and keeps you full longer. Beyond specific ingredients, here are some general tips I've picked up for making Chinese cooking weight-loss friendly. First, minimize oil. Instead of deep-frying, opt for steaming, boiling, or light stir-frying with just a teaspoon of healthy oil. Second, load up on vegetables! Think broccoli, bok choy, mushrooms, bell peppers – the more colorful, the better. They add volume, nutrients, and very few calories. Third, be mindful of sauces. Many store-bought Chinese sauces are high in sugar and sodium. I prefer making my own with low-sodium soy sauce, ginger, garlic, a touch of vinegar, and a tiny bit of sweetener if needed. For a quick 300-calorie meal inspiration, imagine this: a serving of my 'SHRIMP EGGS SCRAMBLED' with lots of 'SHREDDED CABBAGE' lightly stir-fried with garlic, and a small portion of brown 'RICE'. Add some fresh 'CUCUMBER' on the side, and you've got a balanced, delicious, and low-calorie meal that hits all the right spots. It's about combining these elements intelligently.
