How I take my note
Taking notes effectively is a skill that can significantly improve your academic and personal productivity. From my experience using Notion as a digital diary and note-taking tool, I’ve found that structuring notes by subject and date helps keep information organized and easy to access. Notion’s ability to create dashboards that combine class notes, assignments, and to-do lists all in one place has transformed how I manage my studies. For example, dividing notes into units like Kinesiology, Geography, and Math, as seen in typical course syllabi, allows me to focus on one subject area at a time without feeling overwhelmed. Additionally, using tags such as #notetakingtips and #notiontips can help categorize notes quickly, making future retrieval faster. Incorporating multimedia elements such as images, links to online textbooks, and class recordings enriches my notes and helps me review content more effectively. Notion’s collaborative features also enable sharing notes with classmates, which facilitates group study and project work. One useful strategy is to regularly revise and edit notes to summarize key concepts like species competition, resource partitioning, and trophic cascades in ecology, which are complex topics. This active engagement with content aids memory retention. Overall, combining digital diary approaches with structured note organization and regular review using a laptop and Notion provides a streamlined study process that supports academic success.
