a little reflection before a new week 🌺

it’s been almost a year of superbloom, & this week has me feeling more nostalgic and grateful than usual.

here are a few bits from this week:

• summer house event with @themovementclub.oc 🩷☀️

• a snapshot of half of the flowers i got for the week 🤪💐

• a closeup of a super pretty graduation bouquet i was thankful to make for a friend’s sibling’s celebration 🫂🎓

• fun and funky bloom spotted at the market 🌺

• a very textured, stunning and classic bride bouquet for a very special bride’s civil ceremony 🤍💍

• centerpieces for a charity event, that focuses on therapeutic horse riding 🫶🏻🐎

thank you for growing with me!

... Read moreAs a small business owner and florist, reflecting on each week brings a unique appreciation for the art and connections built through flowers. This past week, I was especially grateful for the variety of opportunities to create meaningful floral arrangements — from a vibrant summer house event to delivering heartfelt bouquets for milestone celebrations like graduations and weddings. The experience of designing centerpieces for a charity event focused on therapeutic horse riding was particularly touching. It reminded me how flowers can contribute to uplifting environments and support community causes beyond just aesthetics. Floral artistry is not just about beauty but about creating feelings of happiness, comfort, and celebration. Working with fresh blooms at the market also continues to inspire me. Spotting fun and funky flowers challenges me to think outside the box and bring new textures and colors into my arrangements. I’ve found that paying close attention to these small details often makes the biggest difference in crafting special pieces for clients. Managing a small floral business involves juggling creativity with logistical tasks, and each bouquet or centerpiece tells a story of collaboration and care. Whether it’s a wedding bouquet that holds sentimental meaning or a weekly flower haul that sparks joy in my workspace, these moments fuel my passion and remind me why I chose this path. If you’re considering supporting local florists, the personalized touch and heartfelt dedication we bring to each project are truly special. Flowers are more than just decorations — they’re a form of expression that connects us all. Reflecting on a year of Superbloom, I’m thankful for every bloom, every challenge, and every meaningful connection made along the way.
