The Obsession By Nora Roberts
I just wish I could listen to this for the first time all over again. I listened to this book some time last year and absolutely LOVED it. While the plot was a bit predictable as far as who the killer was, I was still glued to the story and the characters. I loved the FMC Naomi and thought she was super likeable, and the MMC Xander was just as likeable. I always expect one of the main characters to be lacking a bit but I love the chemistry and romance but that it didn't take away from the thriller aspect. This was my first Nora Roberts book and it was an AMAZING introduction to her writing. Sunrise Cove is the place I wanted to be the entire time reading this (aside from the serial killer stuff happening obviously). I adored the friends Naomi met along the way as well and really appreciated her having somebody other than just Xander. I went into this needing a pallet cleanser from heavy smut and still got a nice dose of romance but all the other good stuff to go with it.
